The Gem has trails behind the community center that are open to the public for free. There is a 1/2-mile trail and a 1/4-mile trail. Pets are allowed but must remain on a leash while walking the trails. Vehicles are not allowed on the trails. There is a bird watching station right off the trail. Recently, "Hidden Gems on the Trails" was established which allows visitors to view unique sculptures from local artists throughout the trails. Come explore nature at the Gem. Donations are always welcome when you visit the trails. We have trail cleanup days every few months.
